Most of the sounds used in this song are sound effects. Machine guns and cash registers make up most of the beat, while the light melody is kept by a chorus which has been compressed to the point that it sounds like a violin or other instrument. Cash registers and machine guns to me represented the American foreign and domestic policies in 2011, which is mirrored in the title.
